Spring Parent Night
The North Gwinnett High School Counseling Department will host its Spring Parent Night on Thursday, February 16th. A general session for all parents and students will be held from 6:00 to 6:30 pm in the Theater followed by two breakout sessions from 6:40 to 8:00 pm in the designated locations.
Raising Successful Teens (Theater) - 6:00 to 6:30 pm
Our School Psychologist will discuss helpful tips for reducing stress and anxiety. Parents will gain insight on how to raise resilient students who understand healthy choices and limits.
Move On When Ready (Theater) - 6:40 to 8:00 pm
This meeting is for high achieving freshmen, sophomores, juniors and their parents and will go over the Move On When Ready Dual-Credit Program for Georgia high school students. Student qualifications and procedures will be covered in depth.
College Panel (Multi-Purpose room 500) - 6:40 to 8:00 pm
Admissions counselors from Georgia colleges will discuss admission requirements and application process for their schools as well as answer any questions that students and parents may have. Colleges that will be represented on the panel are Georgia Gwinnett College, Georgia State University, Gwinnett Technical College, Kennesaw State University, and University of North Georgia.
